Our First trip to the Max Inn

Reuel's brother and his wife Karen bought a "mountain retreat", this is our first of hopefully many fun visits!! A view uphill of the "Max Inn"

This is the view we woke up to out of window in the morning, hard to beat this!
Jessica decided that the girls should take a hike so hiking we went. Jess strapped on baby Lucy and the girls put on their hiking hats, shirts and boots and down the hill we went.
The flowers left from early summer were so pretty, this is a "Black Eyed Susan"
Grandma Great did awesome, these girls were fearless though gave us a scare on the rock!
The hike included SCAT, which is the proper term for "poop you see in the woods".



The weekend was not all fun and games, after all, we were there to build a wall!! Well, "we" meaning Ron, Reuel, and Michael and build a wall they did!!
I cannot believe I did not take an after shot.
There was also a bit of a "marshmallow toasting" competition,
May I dare say that I think Reuel won....
although his brother came in a close second.

Reuel riding a dirt bike, I loved seeing him having fun with his brother, hat turned backward and a big smile on his face!



These are crazy people jumping off of rocks and a tire swing, I have to admit though it did look fun! We had to hold Ron back!
This is the end of our visit, Ron took us up a trail and we saw a beautiful river...I am just glad we did not see the bear the other hikers saw!!
